  • During the XIII and XIV Italian Antarctic expeditions (1997/98, 1998/99), 18 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the international CRP project in southern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic and metamorphic rocks. The investigated regions are within Taylor Glacier ST 57-60/5 and Ross Island ST 57-60/6* USGS sheets.   • During the XXI Italian Antarctic expedition (2005/06), 42 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Origin and behaviour of the northern Victoria Land glacial system" in northern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. The investigated regions are within Mount Melbourne SS 58-60/9, Mount Murchison SS 58-60/5 and Relief Inlet SS 58-60/13 USGS sheets.

  • During the XI Italian Antarctic expedition (1995/96), 525 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the international GEOMAUD project in central Dronning Maud Land.   • During the X Italian Antarctic expedition (1994/95), 521 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Proterozoic-Paleozoic evolution of the Pacific margin of Antarctica" in northern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. The investigated regions are within Cape Hallett SS 58-60/2, Daniels Range SR 57-58/14, Ebbe Glacier SR 57-58/16, Freyberg Mountains SS 58-60/1, Mount Melbourne SS 58-60/9, Mount Murchison SS 58-60/5 and Mount Soza SR 57-58/15 USGS sheets.

  • During the XV and XVI Italian Antarctic expeditions (1999/2000, 2000/01), 609 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Tectono-metamorphic and magmatic evolution of the Antarctic Pacific paleo-margin of Gondwana in the late Proterozoic-Early Paleozoic (Victoria Land, Shackleton Range, Dronning Maud Land)" in northern Victoria Land and central Transantarctic Mountains. They include intrusive, subvolcanic and metamorphic rocks. The investigated regions are within Mount Melbourne SS 58-60/9, Mount Murchison SS 58-60/5, Reeves Névé SS 55-57/12, Sequence Hills SS 55-57/8, Welcome Mountain SS 55-57/4, Cape Selborne SU 55-60/2 and Mount Olympus SU 56-60/1 USGS sheets.

  • During the XV, XVI and XVII Italian Antarctic expeditions (1999/2000, 2000/01, 2001/02), 259 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Cenozoic magmatism in the area north of Tucker Glacier, northern Victoria Land, Antarctica" in northern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. The investigated regions are within Cape Adare SR 59-60/13*, Cape Hallett SS 58-60/2, Coulman Island SS 58-60/6, Freyberg Mountains SS 58-60/1 and Mount Melbourne SS 58-60/9 USGS sheets.

  • During the X Italian Antarctic expedition (1994/95), 639 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the international EUROSHACK project in Shackleton Range. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic and metamorphic rocks. The investigated regions are within Shackleton Range SU 26-30/1* USGS sheet.   • During the XVIII and XIX Italian Antarctic expeditions (2002/03, 2003/04), 668 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Lithospheric discontinuities in Victoria Land. Geochemical-geochronological-structural study of lower Paleozoic igneous rocks and their bearings on the accretion and long-term evolution of the Antarctic plate" in northern and southern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. The investigated regions are within Coulman Island SS 58-60/6, Freyberg Mountains SS 58-60/1, Mount Melbourne SS 58-60/9, Mount Murchison SS 58-60/5, Mount Soza SR 57-58/15, Ross Island ST 57-60/6*, Sequence Hills SS 55-57/8, Taylor Glacier ST 57-60/5 and Yule Bay SR 57-58/12 USGS sheets.

  • During the IX Italian Antarctic expedition (1993/94), 274 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Crustal accretion of the paleo-Pacific margin of Antarctica in the Phanerozoic" in northern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. The investigated regions are within Cape Hallett SS 58-60/2, Coulman Island SS 58-60/6, Daniels Range SR 57-58/14, Ebbe Glacier SR 57-58/16, Freyberg Mountains SS 58-60/1, Mount Murchison SS 58-60/5, Mount Soza SR 57-58/15, Ob' Bay SR 57-58/11 and Welcome Mountain SS 55-57/4 USGS sheets.

  • During the VI Italian Antarctic expedition (1990/91), 1008 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Petrology, geochemistry and metallogenesis of igneous and metamorphic basement" in northern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks.
