  • During the X Italian Antarctic expedition (1994/95), 639 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the international EUROSHACK project in Shackleton Range. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic and metamorphic rocks. The investigated regions are within Shackleton Range SU 26-30/1* USGS sheet.   • During the XXXIII and XXXIV Italian Antarctic expeditions (2017/18, 2018/19), 194 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Dating of tectonic activity along the Transantarctic Mountains front" in northern and southern Victoria Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. The investigated regions are within Convoy Range ST 57-60/1, Franklin Island ST 57-60/2*, Mount Joyce SS 55-57/16, Mount Melbourne SS 58-60/9, Reeves Névé SS 55-57/12, Relief Inlet SS 58-60/13 and Ross Island ST 57-60/6* USGS sheets.

  • During the X Italian Antarctic expedition (1994/95), 42 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the project "Geological survey and sampling of Jurassic volcanics" in northern Victoria Land. They include subvolcanic and volcanic rocks. The investigated regions are within Mount Joyce SS 55-57/16 USGS sheet.

  • During the XV Italian Antarctic expedition (1999/2000), 213 rocks have been sampled within the aim of the BACKTAM project in Oates Land and George V Land. They include intrusive, subvolcanic, volcanic, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. The investigated regions are within Australian Antarctic Territory - Ross Dependency - Sr57-58, Australian Antarctic Territory - Sq55-56, Australian Antarctic Territory - Sr55-56 and Australian Antarctic Territory - Terre Adelie - Sq53-54 sheets. They include intrusive, subvolcanic and metamorphic rocks. The investigated regions are within Mount Melbourne SS 58-60/9, Mount Murchison SS 58-60/5, Reeves Névé SS 55-57/12, Sequence Hills SS 55-57/8, Welcome Mountain SS 55-57/4, Cape Selborne SU 55-60/2 and Mount Olympus SU 56-60/1 USGS sheets.
